The Inaugural INBA Global Competition in Singapore & Malaysia

Fitness Movement (FM)  presented the first natural bodybuilding championship by the global “Natural Olympia” Organisation, took place in Singapore - the Singapore Regional Natural Classic 2023. 

And the first natural bodybuilding championship - the Malaysia Regional Natural Classic 2024 will take place on the 4th February in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The time was well overdue for a leader to step up for the Elite Natural Athletes of Singapore. Mr. Chiak through his experience as a fitness enthusiast and event promoter, and in particular to his commitment to promoting drug free sports, is clearly the leader INBA PNBA Global was looking for. Mr. Chiak expressed his willingness to established INBA PNBA Singapore with INBA PNBA Global to further recognise drug free athletes on a global scale. Together we are committed to drug free competition, and a lifestyle of advocating health, fitness, and long life. Natural athletes from Singapore, Asia and beyond, can compete in the Pro-Qualifier as a platform to turn professional. Being open to all nationalities will up the ante and provide a healthy competitive environment. Amateur/Novice categories are also available for those who are not prepared to turn professional. 

In order to promote natural bodybuilding, Fitness Movement has incorporated a non-profit arm called Singapore Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Movement Federation (SNBFM) to spearhead, sanction and promote drug free and clean sport in Singapore. 

“There is now a much higher awareness of the harmful side-effects of performance enhancement drugs in sports and with the a greater focus on health, I am confident more bodybuilding athletes will take up the challenge to go drug-free; most importantly for the long term safety of their health but also to break the cycle of potential abuse especially for the younger athletes who just started bodybuilding.” Mr. Kevin Chiak, SNBFM and FM’s founder/President. Kevin was a former National bodybuilder and a former Mr. Singapore.

INBA PNBA Singapore also accepts the Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) as the National Anti-Doping Organisation designated by the Singapore Government; and therefore accepts the Anti-Doping Policy of Singapore and the ADS Anti-Doping Rules, both of which are established in compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code, as the basis for the fight against doping in sport. INBA PNBA Singapore is committed to educate, inform and test, as appropriate, athletes competing in Singapore, and representing Singapore, so that bodybuilding remains a drug-free sport. 

About INBA PNBA

Founded in 1990 by Denny Kakos, the PNBA (Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association) was formed for the natural athletes that qualified to turn PRO, and to promote Professional level competitions.  With the growth and popularity of Natural Bodybuilding in 1994, Denny Kakos further expanded the organization by founding the INBA (International Natural Bodybuilding Association), this expansion allowed for all Countries to unite as an International Organization that would unify and standardize Natural Bodybuilding around the World (with conditions). INBA PNBA started to drug test with the highest standards and incorporated the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Labs to create a more even playing field for the athletes. INBA PNBA promotes shows all over the world in over 50 countries and growing.

About Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS)

Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) was established in 2010 by the then Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports as the national anti-doping authority for Singapore, and is a division within the Singapore Sports Council (or SportSG) responsible for the implementation and management of the Anti-Doping Programme for sport in Singapore.
